The Iconic Kente Fabric Meet the Western world?
It’s both exciting and amazing how far the kente fabric has come. Its no longer just the “kabah and Slit” which traditionally our grand mothers and even our mothers worn. Most of the up and coming designers are now combining it with different fabrics to create styles and outfits which can be worn for special occasions or as an everyday clothes. It has become a trend of its own and can now be seen on some of our high street shops.
You can even get the kente prints made into jackets, bags, shoes, bedding and many household items. I must say, its an exciting time and makes me very proud to see the our heritage celebrated in such a way and embraced by all. Why dont you check out our collections…
